Therapist in Fort Collins, Colorado | Women's Mental Health, Pregnancy & Postpartum, Anxiety, Motherhood Stress

Hi, I’m Kelly

I'm a licensed professional counselor, mom, and co-founder of The Bloomhouse Women's Counseling Collective in Fort Collins. I'm passionate about helping women feel more supported, understood, and equipped to navigate some of life's biggest transitions, especially the transition into motherhood.

There are so many seasons of life when we feel like we should know what we're doing, even when we're struggling to figure it out as we go. Maybe you're trying to conceive and finding the process harder than you expected. Maybe pregnancy has brought up more anxiety than excitement. Maybe you're in the thick of postpartum life wondering why you're struggling when you thought you would feel differently. Or maybe you're a few years into motherhood and realizing just how much you've been carrying.

You don't have to figure it all out on your own.

One of the things I love most about being a therapist is helping people feel less alone in what they're experiencing. I want you to have a place where you can be honest about the hard parts, make sense of what you're feeling, and figure out what you need to feel more like yourself again.

I'm particularly passionate about perinatal mental health because women deserve so much more support through pregnancy, postpartum, fertility challenges, pregnancy loss, and the transition into motherhood. These experiences can bring up a complicated mix of emotions, and sometimes the hardest part is feeling like you're the only one struggling.

You can love your baby and still struggle with motherhood. You can be grateful for your family and still feel overwhelmed. And you can have a difficult time during a season you thought would be one of the happiest of your life.

All of those feelings deserve room to be understood, without judgment or pressure to feel differently.

That's a big part of why I helped created The Bloomhouse: to build a place where women can find compassionate, knowledgeable support through the experiences that shape their lives.

Areas of Specialty

My clinical work focuses on perinatal mental health, pregnancy and postpartum, anxiety, motherhood stress, and the emotional challenges that can come with major life transitions.

I work with women navigating:

  • Pregnancy and postpartum mental health

  • Postpartum anxiety and depression

  • Postpartum OCD and intrusive thoughts

  • Fertility challenges and trying to conceive

  • Pregnancy loss and reproductive grief

  • Motherhood stress, burnout, and overwhelm

  • Anxiety, overthinking, and chronic worry

  • Identity changes and adjustment to motherhood

  • Perfectionism, self-doubt, and mom guilt

  • Difficult life transitions and emotional overwhelm

Becoming a mother can change so much more than your daily routine. It can shift the way you see yourself, affect your relationships, bring up unexpected fears, and even surface experiences from your own childhood that you thought you had already worked through.

I love helping women understand these changes and make sense of what's happening beneath the surface. Together, we can work on managing anxiety, processing difficult experiences, understanding emotional patterns, and finding ways to navigate motherhood that feel healthier and more sustainable.

You deserve support whether you're preparing to become a mother, struggling with fertility, adjusting to life with a new baby, or finding that motherhood is harder than you expected.
